Boy, was that a long nap... who knew... The Shadow does but he's on his break right now so that doesn't help... in any event this segue, like so many others, has the Chairman's fingerprints all over it and he told us that it had something to do with him but we're not sure what he meant by that. Look, we just put these segues up online and then we normally have an RC Cola and a Moon Pie...

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's special Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It will also be expanded as a part of that format and finally evolve into a full, long-form programming element on its own. It’s all a part of GET’s Internet radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).

The feature will be available for integration into other stations in the future as well. It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
