The 377th Theater Sustainment Command is celebrating their 80th anniversary this year. The unit began as a port company during World War II. Today, the 377th is the largest command in the Army Reserve with more than 33,000 soldiers. It deploys sustainment forces around the world from its headquarters at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans. Members of the United States Army Special Operations Command parachute team, the Black Daggers, opened the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans Air Show on March 19 and 20, 2022, jumping with a special flag commemorating the milestone.
