I am Gholam and alhamulellah I have met awesome people in US they are as part of my family.

I am SSgt Mike Tritt former Aerial Gunner from the 20th and 21st Special Operations Squadron and Operation North Star was the only Organization that was able to get my Terp Gholam and his family out of Afghanistan and I forged a bond with Duke who was instrumental in making it happen. I am forever grateful for the work they have done for me personally and continue to do.

This is the story of how an interpreter named Gholam was rescued by Operation North Star. Coming up in a few days are two episodes regarding the dangerous escape from Afghanistan.
We were lucky that we had a chance to shoot the breeze with these three awesome tough US soldiers, who we are very proud of, truly brave men. Their story is one of a kind.
