Grizzly vs. Wolves

In all my years at Yellowstone, I’ve never witnessed an interaction between a grizzly bear and wolves until 2 days ago. The Wapiti wolf pack took down a bull elk in Hayden Valley and returned to the carcass at sunset. About 15 minutes after the wolves arrived, a grizzly appeared out of the woods with ideas of his own. I was able to video the entire event. (and to think I hiked the Wapiti Lake Trail only a mile north of here just a few weeks ago)…
