ASEAN - a loose alliance of Southeast Asian nations - has been pressured to interfere in Myanmar’s internal political crisis. Justifying the violation of ASEAN’s non-interference principles requires ignoring US interference in Myanmar and the atrocities carried out by the US-backed opposition.
