Shopping Bag Shortage in Albuquerque Due to Shipments Stuck At Port

Our local Smith's grocery store is having a bag shortage due to the shipment containers being held up at the ports in California. The self checkout attendant eventually placed 3 bags in the little wire shelf after I had already rung up my groceries. I decided to use 2 and at least leave 1 for the next shopper to use.
It's starting to affect us here in Albuquerque, New Mexico little by little.
Some shelves were empty too. Some items not being restocked at this time.
