- OCTOBER 24, 2021
- On average 330 people go missing or are murdered in national parks every year. Of those people who died, 47% are accidental deaths, while 53% are intentional deaths. Of the intentional deaths, 95% are suicides and 5% are homicides.
- Why do so many people commit suicides in national parks? Why do a few cases get such national exposure when others get next to zero?
- Possible causes for missing persons can include accidents, murders, kidnappings, UFO abductions, human trafficking, Bigfoot sightings even? You be the judge.
