Jordan Peterson Speaks Outside at McMaster University on March 17, 2017
Jordan Peterson spoke about the importance of freedom of speech at McMaster University on March 17, 2017.
Radical feminists shouted Peterson down in the auditorium in an attempt to "no-platform" (a process that has been compared to book burning) him. Peterson moved outdoors and spoke eloquently at length with a group of attentive students while angry protesters tried to drown out his voice, ultimately proving Peterson's point that "you can't make someone listen, who won't listen."
Peterson spoke about the importance of dialog in arriving at a consensus, the importance of honesty when choosing to follow your conscience, and the marxist roots of the ideological protestors who seek to silence all those with whom they disagree.
