Will Smith Slaps Chris Rock at the Oscars

Will Smith don't have to slap in his raps to sell records but he does when a joke is made about his family. At the 2022 Academy Awards, Will Smith classed up the joint by attacking Chris Rock after the comedian lobbed a joke at Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith. Seemed like a pretty cut and dry case of overreacting or crossing the line but apparently even this action has divided people. Some saying Will Smith was right to stand up for his women as a man. Others are in the camp that comedians push buttons and sometimes they touch a nerve but that doesn't mean we charge them over it.
Chris Rock probably didn't think he was going to get slapped Big Willie style when he started his routine but I'm guessing he won't be using the G.I. Jame joke moving forward.
