A little visit with Arthur the rescue horse. One more month and he will be rounded off

It's taken a while to get him there. But we've made it through flood and other difficulties and he's almost to that perfect weight. I predict one more month from now.
As he is clearly not digesting the oats well, probably from not chewing well enough, I'm changing his feed (over the next fortnight) to include only feed that he doesn't need to chew and this means wetting it down to make it super soft. The chaff I even make into a soup, so it can be drunk and eaten as a mash.
