What Happened to Lauren Dumolo? Surveillance video recorded Thursday morning shows Lauren Dumolo applying for a job as a gas station clerk at the Speedway less than a half of a mile away from her Coronado Parkway apartment. Less than 24 hours later, around 6.am. on Friday morning, Lauren Dumolo boyfriend, Gabriel Pena, said he saw Lauren before he went to work. Gabriel said he told her goodbye and let her sleep in.

Phone records show Lauren, or someone using Lauren’s phone, made a Facebook Video Call to Gabriel’s phone between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., however, Gabriel did not answer.

There are reports a maintenance worker at her apartment complex chatted with her at some point Friday morning. The worker claimed she asked him if he knew about any cheap apartments in the area. Her family found this report strange, as Lauren had just paid her rent in full. Cape Coral police said she was last seen wearing a t-shirt and shorts.

When Gabriel returned home from work Friday evening, Lauren was not there. Due to his concern for Lauren’s wellbeing, he called Lauren’s father, Paul, and told him he didn’t know where Lauren was. Paul told him to file a missing persons report.

Lauren Brittany Dumolo was a 29-year-old living in Cape Coral, Florida in 2020. Lauren has a 5-year old daughter, Mikayla, and was living with her boyfriend Gabriel Pena, who often went by “Gabby”. Lauren and Gabby had been together for a few years and were living in the Coronado Parkway Apartments. Lauren is described as a Caucasion female, about 5’2 and 120 pounds. She is a girly girl through and through- nails always done, make up done, and her favorite color has always been pink.

Lauren, born in Florida, grew up being raised by her father, Paul in Maryland. She was close to her younger sister Cassie, who was just 13 months her junior. They had no relationship with their mother, however, who lived in Florida.
As adults, both Cassie and Lauren would end up moving back to Florida. Cassie would not have much of a relationship with their mom, but Lauren desperately wanted to try and reconnect and would move to Cape Coral, Florida, the same town as her mother.
