The Neanderthal has gone through many different forms throughout its known existence - from a lumbering oaf to a stoic Ice Age hominin. But what if the story of the Neanderthal is far more complex than we give it credit for?

In this video we look at the Neanderthal as a "Man of the Forest" with a specific look at evidence that suggests that the Neanderthal was no stoic "ice Man" but a rugged, strong, robust, and quick woodland ambusher.

Specifically we will look at:

1) The Neanderthal "sprint gene"
2) Neanderthal Physical Adaptations
3) Neanderthal Behavioral Adaptations
4) The Schöningen Spears
5) The Bow and Arrow as it relates to Neanderthals
