This is the Second Amendment Supreme Court Case of the Decade

State governments have been infringing on the rights of the people to bear arms for decades. But, today could be the beginning of the end for all of that.

In this episode of Minute Man Moment, Phil walks through New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen.

Currently, if you're a law-abiding citizen, New York State won't issue you a permit without what they call "proper cause." This means they can arbitrarily deny your right to carry a gun for protection, even if you have a clean record. This is a clear violation of the Second Amendment, which explicitly states that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

GOA, GOF and the Heller Foundation have closely followed this landmark case and have also submitted amicus briefs to help the Supreme Court reach a no-compromise decision and support New York's gun owners by ruling against the State's gun-grabbing laws. If decided in our favor, this case could be the foundation to protect gun rights across the country for years to come. With this case, the Supreme Court has a chance to declare that Second Amendment rights are NOT second class rights.
