We talk about the tough part of PMAland -unlearning unhealthy ideas, asking permission from authorities out of their lane, and learning styles.

In a PEA you can choose the curriculum you want (and don't want), you get to choose what is best for your children, such as life skills, schedules, documentation, and adaptability. We are taking responsibility for the health of our children (and ourselves), physically, mentally, emotionally, morally, and spiritually. In fact, studies have shown that private and homeschooled children have greater logic, personal perseverance, and critical thinking skills and get accepted to colleges with greater ease than public schooled kids.
