Marine Close Air Support Exercise

October 24, 2021 - U.S. Marines from Force Headquarters Group, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing and 4th Marine Division, engage in Tactical Air Control Party Sustainment Course 22-1 training during a Close Air Support Exercise (CASEX) in cooperation with U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force personnel at Townsend Bombing Range, Georgia. Marines take part in CASEX to practice close air support drills with pilots, while working to increase proficiency and readiness of Marine Force Reserve joint terminal attack controllers, forward air controllers, and joint fires observers.
