DIY Chicken Door Automatic Opener

We enjoy letting our chickens out every morning, however, on a rare occasion we need help. There have been a few chilly weekends recently that we have felt guilty choosing between snuggling or letting the chickens out and that helped us decide to try an automatic door opener. In this video, we show you our DIY installation and explain our reasons for using this chicken door and some things we discovered about it.
