Recon Marines Conduct Heliborne Raid

November 4, 2021 - U.S. Marines with 3d Reconnaissance Battalion, 3d Marine Division, conduct a heliborne raid on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. 3d Reconnaissance Battalion conducted the heliborne raid as part of their Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation, focusing on diverse insertion and extraction methods, steadfast communications employment, and enhanced trust.
