Building a Big Shelf for the Garage

I can finally realize my dream of parking Dangerous Freedom in the garage this winter! With the kids outside toys taking up one side of the garage, I needed a place to seasonally store them if I was to ever park next to my Wife’s Jeep.

Since they don’t make an off the rack shelf for my specific space, I measured what I’d be storing, where I would want the shelf, and drew up the plans. I naively thought I could just go to the hardware store and have them cut all the angles and lengths I needed, then build everything myself.

I quickly realized this was a 2 man job. HUGE thanks to my Dad for sharing his tools, skills, and wisdom with me. We had a blast with this project and hope you enjoy the video, learn some things, and get inspired to create something of your very own!
