“God owns my business, I work for Him.”

Money is something mentioned throughout the bible. The pursuit of money gives us an opportunity to practice god-given principles that guide us toward living a balanced and virtuous life. Many successful entrepreneurs have proven that maintaining integrity and caring for others are just as important as financial literacy.

Lorne Jackson has over 30 years in the financial planning business. In the 1980’s, he bought a financial planning company with 65 advisors and 10 years later he had recruited over 1400 more.
Lorne enjoys financial planning for the people, not the numbers. He has since dedicated his life to bringing faith to people, especially in the business world. In 2002 he started the Canadian National Christian Foundation, creating and simplifying opportunities for people and organizations to donate money in meaningful ways. In the realm of estate planning, Lorne has also created Advisors With Purpose, operating as a charity and bringing free estate planning to people as an act of stewardship.

Expert action steps:
1. Do what you say you’re going to do.
2. Keep God at the center of your business.
3. Stewardship is a Godly use of time, talent and treasure. Be a steward of your family. Carefully balance your business life with your family; Quantity AND quality.
