13th MEU Conducts a Helicopter Assault Exercise

May 6, 2013 - Marines and Sailors with Maritime Raid Force, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct a helicopter assault exercise on Fort Irwin, National Training Center, Calif., during Ground Realistic Urban Training. Ground RUT is a nine-day exercise that spans three states and will utilize the 13th MEU’s full spectrum of aviation, ground combat and logistics assets.
