Marine LAV's Train for Arial Deployment - Exercise Iron Sky

October 20, 2021 - U.S. Marines assigned to 3d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division participate in during Exercise Iron Sky at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan. The long-distance training evolution confirms the Battalion’s ability to provide capabilities to their higher supported commander through mobility and firepower to inform their decision-making process in shaping the battlefield. The air station’s airfield is capable of serving as a staging point for aircraft operations and movements.
