As a follow up to their July 2000 debut release (A Couple Minutes of Practice), Bay City, Michigan's Desiring Dead Flesh released this August 17th, 2000 cassette A Couple Weeks of Practice. Just 9 days later, the band made their live debut at the first annual Ripped Heart Productions Outdoor show. Many of the tunes became the perennial live favorite songs that would be common in most DDF sets until 2020 when the band was laid to rest including God Save the Scene, Anarchist Revolt, Thoughts in my Head, KMart's Parking Lot, and Postpartum Abortion.
