British-based, multinational Pharma giant GlaxoSmithKline inked a nearly $40 million, five-year deal with the University of Oxford to establish the Oxford-GSK institute for Molecular and Computational Medicine. With vast datasets of promising targets now available for medicine discovery, combining these data sets with functional genomics deepens the understanding of disease at the molecular level.
