U.S. Army Soldiers Train with the M110A1 Squad Designated Marksman Rifle

October 28, 2021 - U.S. Army Soldiers with the 44th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, New Jersey Army National Guard, conduct weapon familiarization with the M110A1 Squad Designated Marksman Rifle (SDMR) at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. The 44th IBCT are the first New Jersey National Guard Soldiers to train and field the new M110A1 SDMR weapon. The M110A1 is a 7.62 mm rifle, which gives Soldiers greater range and accuracy than the standard M4 rifle.
