And some big news for Deadliest Catch fans. Discovery announced that season 18 will premier on April 19th. For the first time in 25 years, the Red King Crab fishery has been closed, leaving the fleet scrambling for a new way to earn money. The season trailer shows several things, including Sig Hansen going to his family's homeland, Norway, to fish for Norwegian King Crab, Jake Anderson experiencing some major problems while fishing for Black Cod with the Saga, and a crewman being airlifted by the Coast Guard off of the shows newest boat, the Patricia Lee.
