The food pyramid was introduced to the USA in 1992 and America's waists immediately grew.
I made this video to expose the amount of influence advertising has on America's diet and health, lobbying practices by food producers, and some startling statistics about how much this health crisis costs Americans every year.
The book - Food Politics by Marion Nestle - played a pivotal role in making this video.
