Airmen Conduct Hot-Pit Refueling Operation

December 21, 2021 - U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing conduct a hot pit refueling operation with an F-16C Fighting Falcon assigned to the 55th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron during an Agile Combat Employment at an undisclosed location in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. By continuing to find and execute new ways to meet the air tasking order, such as surging combat fighter airpower in the USCENTCOM AOR, Ninth Air Force (U.S. Air Forces Central) Airmen lead the way in accelerating change in the Air Force, ensuring Airmen are ready to meet any need at a moment’s notice.
