JASDF and USMC Conduct a Joint Maritime Strike Mission

December 15, 2021 - Japan Air Self-Defense Force F-2A aircraft assigned to 3rd Tactical Fighter Squadron, 7th Air Wing, and F/A -18C Hornet aircraft assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 112 conduct a joint maritime strike mission at Hyakuri Air Base. The maritime strike was bilaterally coordinated by U.S. Marines and Japan Self-Defense Force Soldiers in a Bilateral Coordination Center during a combined USMC-JSDF rehearsal.
