This entire series was filmed during late summer of 2010.Many of the personalities still can be found but many others have moved on. This series will tell you of history, it will show attractions, it will make you laugh and cry. This is the Mother Road. Follow us as we reveal American's main street. In this episode of the Route 66 Adventure we are in Atlanta Ill with Mayor William Thomas who trained me to be Keeper of the Clock for a day. Here we saw the Bunyan giant (several are on Route 66). William ended his tour at the Palms cafe where Veteran Paul Adams shared his Route 66 memory. Then we spoke with the owner of the Palms cafe and award winning baker Lumi Bektesoski.
