VALORANT'S New Character NEON Is FILIPINO NOT FILIPINX (WOKE BACKFIRE) | EP 164

Valorant released their newest character Neon, an electricity-based user hailing from a Filipino background. All well and good, however, this sparked a minor outrage as a Woke Twitter user called Neon "Filipinx" and Filipinos around the internet was not going to have it. This is further evidence that the use of Filipinx is not only on the decline and unpopular with Filipinos but even "normies" those who I'd say are not invested in the culture war are putting a hard stop on this. I also went into a quick trailer reaction of this character. Honestly, the character Neon looks rather cool and I have no issues with her design. So other than the this little incident, cheers to more Filipino characters.
