This entire series was filmed during late summer of 2010.Many of the personalities still can be found but many others have moved on. This series will tell you of history, it will show attractions, it will make you laugh and cry. This is the Mother Road. Follow us as we reveal American's main street. In this episode of the Route 66 Adventure we conclude the Pontiac tour with Ellie Alexander showing some landmarks and murals. It was a fun day as we checked into the Three roses bed and breakfast run by Sharon Hanson. We rarely stay at a Bed and Breakfast, but Sharon does it right. What a great breakfast! The next stop is Memory lane in Lexington Ill. Memory lane is an old alignment now used as a footpath for hiking, but they, (Willie, Edna, John, Joann, Chuck Wright, and John Mohr) gave a parade for us that concluded at the Filling Station Cafe where we spoke with the owner Jari Rilsberg.
