Ukraine War: In Search Of Life In Ghost Towns Near Donetsk Airport (Very Sad)

As increased hostilities or "Invasion" Seems "eminent" as predicted by many, today I decided to go to the civilian areas Near the front line and Donetsk Airport that have been hit the hardest by Ukraine shelling for almost 8 years. These neighborhoods have been turned into something that resembles ghost towns or ancient ruins. I have personally seen many people lose their lives in the senseless attacks by the Ukraine forces in these areas. Very Many more have lost all their possessions and homes. In my years reporting and living in Donetsk, I have made a bond with the locals so seeing this year after year is Very difficult to see and understand why this can not be stopped. In fact, my wife grew up in one of these Ghost Towns and her family's home has been hit by Ukraine Grad rockets, mortars and artillery more times then can count. Luckily her family was able to evacuate before their home was hit but they as well lost almost everything.
I often return to the area to see how it is doing and see how the people are (if there are any people left.) Today is one of those days. In this report, I will show you what the real situation is for the people living there and what they think of the widely predicted increase in hostilities in Donbass and Ukraine. Warning it is a very sad situation.
