Caribbean, Partner Nations Enhance Raid Capabilities - Tradewinds 2017

June 13, 2017 - Members of the Belize Defence Force and Jamaica Defense Force work together while conducting a simulated raid as part of Exercise Tradewinds 2017 Phase II in Chaguaramas, Trinidad and Tobago. This annual exercise, sponsored by U.S. Southern Command, is conducted to increase the interoperability of the 20 nations involved and their ability to counter transnational organized crime and terrorism, and conduct humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations. U.S. Marines from Combat Logistics Battalion 23, 4th Marine Logistics Group, are providing the logistical support for Phase II of Tradewinds.
