Performance Notes:

Mozart wrote his “Exsultate Jubilate” in 1773 and was later revised in 1780. The text throughout is simply, “Alleluia.” This setting for brass quintet should be played with lightness and a cantabile, even as some of the passages are gymnastic. Lyricism is the goal.
