Variety & Long Term Food Storage For Preppers & SHTF Preparedness

Too much food variety will encourage over eating, will complicate food prep, and will cause logistical issues in tracking inventory and planning. Variety is not necessary for emergency rations and it should be considered a luxury. I suggest the core of your food reserves be simple staples that are measurable, nutritious, and plentiful.
