House Session Vaccine Mandate Amendments to bill SF2876

Last week, Representative Kurt Daudt proposed two amendments to a human services waiver bill. Each amendment attempted to prohibit mandates using different methods.

This post isn't about the bill or even the amendments proposed. It's about what Representative Daudt did.

As soon as Daudt brought forth each amendment, a Democrat member called a point of order. In basic terms, they ruled the amendments as off topic so they don't vote on them.

Daudt was able to use his extensive knowledge of the rules to advocate for health freedom for a very long time. Most importantly, he called out the Democrats for refusing to debate this topic and using procedures to avoid publicly voting on it.

So a HUGE thank you to Representative Daudt for standing up for health freedom so passionately.

We agree that legislators should vote on this topic, so it's on public record which legislators are for and which are against health freedom. Their constituents deserve to know who they are voting for.

If you'd like to watch the entire debate, it begins at 32 minutes: https://youtu.be/eWtrpArDQi8
