Wintering bee's outdoors in the far north, (Winnipegosis, Manitoba, Canada)

Just documenting my winter 2021/2022 outdoor attempt at wintering bees. It was fimed around noon on Feb. 7, 2022 In Winnipegosis, MB, Canada. I would appreciate any advise on different ways to better winter bee's this far north.

Correction It is all flax straw I keep saying alfalfa but it is flax.
