Homeschool Room Organization | Large Family Style

Join us as we spend 4 days organizing these 37 shelves that are home to each of our kids homeschool supplies and a few other personal items.

This space has been a huge pain point in our home - especially considering that our homeschool room is also our dining room… which is actually our family room. 😜😂

Organizing with little ones can be a challenge, but it is SO VALUABLE to include them!

Not only do they start to learn organizational skills but they are also able to start taking responsibility for their belongings - deciding what to keep and what to get rid of.

Plus, when you let them help organize their own space, your chances of them keeping it that way are much greater (no promises on 100% though!).

We also play a part in keeping things organized by doing thorough reviews of the space on a regular basis.

This begins with multiple times a day right after a space is organized. This helps us stop bad habits as they are happening!

Then, as we notice that the kids are doing a better job of maintaining the space, we work our way towards weekly inspections.
