Join us for a winter hike at the beautiful Seven Bridges Trail in Colorado Springs.

The trail is a 3.5 mile out and back and has an elevation gain of just over 900 feet.

It ended up being a little colder than some of us expected…

we were missing coats that were left in the van,

some didn't have proper footwear,

and some didn't have gloves to keep their hands warm.

So let's just use this video as a good example of how NOT to hike in the winter with your family. 😂

Thankfully, our kids are champs and none of them really spent any time complaining!

They even rallied together and shared coats and gloves -

taking turns dealing with the cooler temps.

If you are in the area, we highly recommend taking your family to hike the Seven Bridges Trail in Colorado Springs.

If you have some flexibility with your schedule, try to go on a weekday, because this one tends to get busy!
