"Moto Boondocker" Ep.10 | Irnieracing RiderTraining Tour

Pro Superbike Racer Marcel Irnie travels South to California to teach Rider Training at Thunderhill Raceway and Laguna Seca. Between the trackday events, Irnie boondocks along the Pacific Coast Highway with his 2004 Norther-Lite 8.5 truck camper and 16' enclosed race trailer.

Part Ten (3:20PM 6th and Final Session of Day Two) continues with Irnie's first student of the tour at Thunderhill Raceway, WIllows California, Sunday October 9, 2016. Adam is an intermediate (B Group) trackday rider with a Daytona 675R.

Adam signed up for Irnie's Two Day Rider Training program, and came away with a 24 second fastest-lap improvement over two days. This was Adam's fourth visit to Thunderhill, Willows California, and 7th trackday overall. When Adam started the day with Irnie, his fastest lap was a 2.33. After one day of 1on1 instruction by Marcel, Adam improved his fastest-lap by 14 seconds to a 2:19.0. Day two, Adam continued to improve by another 10 seconds, finishing the last session with a 2.09 lap time. Adam was also riding consistent with two 2.09's in a row, thanks to Marcel's clever teaching methods.

Adam also reached a life-time goal to drag a knee, and advance to the "A" trackday group, or "Fastest" group. Adam not only dragged a knee, and advanced to the top track-day group, but became a comfortable rider in th "A" group, and has the knowledge/ acquired skills to visit any track, and do the same by himself.
