Modern new cabin, 70 m2 + loft, 1000 m.a.s.l in mountain terrain, panoramic views from the east to Jotunheimen in the west, Sun from morning to evening. Touring from the doorstep, 320 km of ski trails, 25 min by car to Beitostølen center, 35 min to Jotunheimen. and tiny tour home for couple you can vlog travel

The space
Mountain cabin in calm surroundings - near Beitostølen (6 km in straight line). Modern high standard, and ready build in 2018. Charming, new and old furnitures. You can start hiking at the doorstep. A short walk, to the high mountain area. The cabin is located 1000 meters above sea level, that is where the threes starts to be few. Internet access by mobile data (no WIFI).

Other things to note

ENGLISH (Norwegian further down)
As a guest You need to bring all linen (duvet cover, pillowcase and sheets) and showertowels. The beds are 160x200 cm, single person duvets. If You arrive by plain or fail to do so, we normally (but not always) can offer linen and showertowels for extra nok 200 pr person, on demand.

No cleaning service or fee, we trust that you as a guest does a proper cleaning - good enought to make the next visitors satisfied.

WINTERTIME
In the period October - May. Please notice that the mountainroad might be covered by snow / Ice. Any downfall could come as either rain or snow and make some trouble. You need very good winter tires. Some days every winter, it will be a lot of snow or frozen rain at the ground (but it is hard to predict when!) These tools are helpfull: 4wheel drive (only up), tires with spikes (up / Down) or " quick tyrechaines "(up / Down). We recommend "quick tyrechaines" to be safe. They will solve most potential problems (and propably eliminate the need for spikes or 4WD) make sure its the right size, and learn how to put them on! Hiring a car? "Hertz" for sure, and probably others offers all this helpfull tools on demand.

You will pass a barrier with toll, where you can pay by card (NOK 50).

We live 250 km away from the cabin, so while you are there, you need to manage yourselves- the same way we do. Meaning for example; put linnen on / off, cleaning after Your stay, split some small starter Wood and carry in Wood, gull some snow in the footpath (the road and most of the driveway are plowed by tractor) etc. We will of course be available at the AIRBNB communication system, SMS and phonecall.

SUMMERTIME
There are mountainroads from the mainroad up to the cabin (10km). Summertime it can be a bit bumpy but any car will work fine, if You drive slow.

BED LINEN AND CLEANING
Guests must bring bed linen (sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases) and a shower towel.
There is no cleaning service or fee, we trust that our guests do a cleaning so good that the next guests are satisfied.

Some days every winter it will e.g. be some snow on the road or freezing rain (but it is difficult to predict when!) These tools help: 4-wheel drive (only up), studded tires (up / down) and fast chain (up / down). We recommend having a quick chain for safe traffic. They solve most potential problems both up and down (and largely eliminate the need for 4WD and studded tires?). Make sure they are the right size and learn how to put them on! Rent a car? "Hertz", and certainly others, offer all of these aids on request.
