Attention seeking North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has trumpeted the launch of his country's largest-ever missile as a "nuclear war deterrent" as he prepares for a "long-standing confrontation" with the US.

It came with an incredible video clip that combined sunglasses with a massive missile.

Washington responded by imposing sanctions on five individuals in Russia and North Korea for transferring sensitive data to the DPRK missile program.
