LORD of the RED FLAGS & FELLOWSHIP of INFLUENCERS aka "SUPER FANS" (Corporate Vs Fandom) | EP 174

Just in case you missed it, Amazon Prime dropped their teaser for the new Rings of Power TV series coming in September 2022 and on top of Variety releasing their exclusive photos, there's already a bunch of red flags that are surrounding this show. This latest marketing strategy of having these so called "super fans" is the cherry on top. These fans are more focus on representation than source material. Asking if Sauron is going to be hot is not on the top of my list of concerns. Lord of the Rings is in NO short supply of fans but Amazon decides to put these Influencers to essentially shill for this show in a corporate and scripted manner. Can this show not stand on its own without paid actors to review a teaser? Is this the best they have to offer? One does not simply walk into Mordor, but one DOES simply sees all the red flags ahead.
