"satancon" WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THIS?!?! | Are "satanists" just atheists?

Should Christians speak out against "satanism"? What is "the satanic temple"? Do "satanists" believe in "satan"?

The first ever "satancon" was hosted by "the satanic temple" on February 11-13 in Scottsdale, Arizona. This was the inaugural "convention". What is even more interesting is the fact that when Christians stepped out in protest against the "satanists", their efforts were spoken out against by a roman catholic bishop. While the protestors were stepping out to say that Jesus Christ is LORD, holding signs with Holy Scripture written on them, "bishop" Thomas Olmsted spoke out saying that "we" should refrain from "participating in any public demonstration or protest." While I agree with the emphasis that he put on prayer and fasting as means of engaging in spiritual warfare, I completely disagree with the fact that the Church should not step forward in protest against this wicked movement. I am against the roman catholic system and their sacramental means of salvation through infused righteousness, just as much as I am against "satancon". Both movements are deceiving many people to Hell, just through different means. So, it does not surprise me that one would step forward to stop the protest of the other. While the satanist belief system claims to be atheistic in nature and does not actually believe in a literal "satan", the fact that they chose to venerate the fallen one is too convenient to be a coincidence. Of all the deities they could choose to represent a symbol of "defiance, independence, wisdom, and self-empowerment", they chose the one in direct opposition to the Christian faith. Not to mention, "the satanic temple" refers to itself as the "primary satanic religious organization in the world." The "conference" was reported to have 350 attendees. The "talks and presentations" at the "conference" were apparently a showcase of "various campaigns" that are being put forth by the organization. These include the promotion of many movements that Christians often speak out against, such as, reproductive rights. Hiding behind addiction and abuse recovery, they are paving the way to allow for further clubs to prop up in support of people who have been hurt. After-school "clubs" seem to be a strong area of focus for them. The co-founder, lucien greaves (I refuse to show him any respect by capitalizing his name), claims that this "convention" serves as an expression of "goodwill toward the city of Scottsdale". Christians need to take action and speak out against these demonic constructs. This paves the way to vilify Biblical Christianity and create a protest against the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
