King Saul & the Witch of Endor

In 1 Samuel 28 we see how Samuel's words in chapter 15 were amazingly prophetic -- as Saul's stubbornness and rebellion led directly to his resorting to witchcraft and idolatry, and ultimately to his destruction; as after the Lord stopped speaking to him, he sought counsel from the devil instead.
