Humpback Bridge Covington VA Part 2

This is the second part of our day trip to White Sulphur Springs WV to look at a car. We stopped at this road side park, in Covington Va. which was the main road, before the highway was built. Where we found this covered bridge, (built in 1835 where it remained in use until 1929) a part of our past that are no longer a functioning part of our country, I know there are still a few covered bridges around but not the humpback style as this one is the only one like it in the USA. Thankfully some of them are being restored for history. The Virginia tourism promotes the LOVEworks that you see in this video. Exit 10 near Covington Va.
