One-on-one with Nevada Governor candidate Joey Gilbert (News 4 & Fox 11)

Joey Gilbert said the number one issue in Nevada is education and he called the current school system 'broken,' pointing to studies that show Nevada ranking near the bottom when compared to other states.

"The only way to truly fix it, in my opinion, is to offer vouchers, education vouchers but until vouchers to come into play, I would like to address things like restorative discipline, credit recovery, the absenteeism, the use of drugs and alcohol on our campuses, where we could do voluntary testing."
