BATMAN AND ME (PITY ME, I’M A BATMAN COLLECTOR!) which will be available on demand and digital March 8. The subject in the film, Darren Maxwell, has amassed a rather…. extreme collection of Batman memorabilia. It began as a hobby in the late 80s but soon grew out of control. However, the hobby has become so endemic to his identity that, despite recognizing its utter insanity, he cannot seem to part with these things. When does collecting becomes hoarding? When does fandom becomes addiction? With The Batman coming out just days before, it is something that may be top of mind to many.
