RACE/GENDER SWAPPING In Movies & TV (When Does It Work???) via KILLING TYME PODCAST | EP 177

Going over another clip from the Killing Tyme Podcast where we talked about race/gender swapping characters in movies & television. There was probably a time I would have been a more of purest and keeping to source material but nowadays I'm open to the idea there are times when swapping does and can work. Definitely a case-by-case scenario. I can totally believe Jason Momoa as Aquaman/Arthur Curry because it translates well and compliments the source material. But changing Anne Boleyn to a Black woman is straight up intended to instigate rather than further develop the character or persona (in this case of real-life person). Overall, a good discussion that I might dive into again in the future.
