Trolls Accuse Me Of Faking My Tourettes | BORN DIFFERENT

BRYONY Munro, from Scotland, has always had tics but didn't realise how serious they were until 2021 when during the UK lockdown they got worse and she received an official tourettes diagnosis. Since her diagnosis, she has made it her mission to champion herself, her followers and everyone around her that a difficult diagnosis, no matter what it is, is only a part of your identity but not the full story. Since her diagnosis, along with her loving partner, she uses her social media to show what life is like with her condition, helping people understand the reality of tourette's syndrome and why it shouldn't stop you from living your best life. Bryony said: “I started having tics at the ages of 12 or 13. Tics in general are involuntary movements so we can't help what we do or what we say. They can be very oddly timed, sometimes people ask if a tic is what we're thinking and it's definitely not what we're thinking."
